Yuka Tatsuo President, Isho Kyonenju Itakura Co., Ltd.
Certified in: Color Coordination (Second Grade) Color Psychology Analysis Sensation Tricolore® Instructor ／Born in Kyoto in 1970, Yuka Tatsuo became the third-generation head of Isho Kyonenju Itakura in 2017. She continues the legacy of her grandmother, Kiho, a master Kyoto prayer bead artisan who was awarded the Kyoto Prefectural Award for Excellence in Traditional Craftsmanship. As both a color professional and cultural ambassador, she is devoted to preserving and sharing the spirit and techniques of Kyoto’s rosary tradition. Her work has been featured on Japan’s Shop Channel (2018) and in the Kyoto Shimbun newspaper (2019) under the theme: “Carrying Forward the Legacy of a Master Artisan Grandmother.” In 2022, she also gave a special lecture at Kyoto Sangyo University. Through her bracelets and teachings, she shares the essence of Kyoto’s culture and heartfelt hospitality with audiences in Japan and beyond.

Certified in Second Grade Color Coordination, Color Psychology Analysis, and as a Sensation Tricolore® Instructor.
In 2017, she became the third-generation head of Isho Kyonenju Itakura, a long-established Kyoto rosary workshop.
Carrying on the techniques and spirit passed down from her grandmother Kiho, a legendary Kyoto rosary artisan and recipient of the Kyoto Prefectural Award for Excellence in Traditional Craftsmanship, she continues to share and preserve the beauty of this cultural heritage.
Through Kyoto-style prayer beads, she actively promotes Japanese tradition and the spirit of hospitality, both in Japan and abroad.
